YCLSA National Secretary to address students at the University of Johannesburg (SASCO March) Bunting road and then visit Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital

4 March 2010

The National Secretary of the Young Communist League of South Africa (uFasimba) Buti Manamela, members of the National Committee and members of the Provincial Executive Committee of the YCL in Gauteng will be doing their annual visit to the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. This is in line with the YCLSA’s campaign to ensure access to quality health care services for the people.

The YCLSA has affirmed its support for the proposed implementation of the National Health Insurance and the visits are also a mechanism to assist government in identifying key priority areas that need to be addressed as a sense of urgency within the Health care system.

This is also a way to honour our late Comrade, Chris Hani who devoted his life to ensuring that our people have access to basic services such as Health, Education, housing, social grants and Electricity.

The National Secretary will address students at the SASCO march at the University of Johannesburg (Bunting Road campus) at 10H00

The YCLSA will also distribute fruit packs to diabetic patients.
