The brutal murder of Comrade Wandile Mkhize

The Young Communist League of South Africa [Ufasimba] passes its heartfelt condolences to the Mkhize family after the brutal murder of Comrade Wandile Mkhize.

Wandile Mkhize served the people and our movement in various capacities as a Secretary of the ANC Youth League in the Lower South Coast and a Chief Whip in the district municipality.

He was a committed cadre, loved robust engagement and a likeable comrade. His people orientated nature allowed even those he differed with to appreciate him.

His child, family, friends and our movement have been robbed by the criminal elements that took his life away. We request a speedy investigation and conclusion of this matter by the authorities. The answers that demand to our questions should be provided and not be left hanging for long.

He will be forever missed for the role he played within society, the contributions to our movement and particularly youth development.
